Thank god it’s monday is a dedication to everyone that likes what they do; the people that gets their asses up in the morning and does the damn thing. Enough of this living for the weekend shit, let’s go out there and get’er done.
It uses Pax Tantor, a typeface I made all by my damn self. Behind there, there’s handwriting written by my damn self with a texture from a photograph of a damn rock I took by my damn self. My brother helped me out in the printing, I did not make him. So big ups to parents for making people and all that.
It’s available in the shop section as of right now, where you can like, buy it and stuff. All by your self.

My newest silk screening project, entitled “Indianer” is finished, and now available in the store!

This art print is the next incarnation in my ongoing series on juxtaposing portrait photography and illustration. The last piece in this series, as you might guess, was the one with the viking kosmonaut. The boy is my little brother Mons, who were so kind to spend an afternoon chilling out in the photo studio. Here’s some behind the scenes footage:

And here’s some quick shots from the process, my silk screening frames for example:

Whipping out some paint:

The print is available in the store as of right now, and the older prints are going on a big sale, to clean out my stocks. As we say in Norway, Løp og kjøp!

As some of you might have read between lines and on twitter lately, I’m about to open up a little web boutique for my prints.

I’ve been getting a lot better at screen printing this last year, with a pretty large pile of good ones under my belt now. They got popular quite fast, selling mostly to friends of friends and other people in the know. And since feedback has been so good on the prints, I am now opening this little shop to spread the word. We aren’t open for business just yet, since at the time of writing I’m in France and unable to ship any orders.
But as soon as I get back home the virtual doors will open fully and I can put acid-free paper into cardboard tubes before you can say sunscreen.
For the sake of transparency, you can have a look at the store at its current state, although you won’t be able to purchase anything just yet. If you are interested in any of the prints, just check back in a couple weeks. And if you just like them, tell your friends!
I am going to release an all new, even bigger print simultaneously with opening the store, at a pretty steep discount as an opening offer. So be sure to check that out while the offer lasts!

Rest assured that I spend every waking minute here in France (that I’m not in the pool) sketching away at new stuff to make. And I’ll remember to bring a proper camera to the workshop next time, it’s a lot of fun to watch all these machines go at it. Allé á la Piscine! (or something like that)

I just finished a new screen print! If you have been following my twitter activity as of late, you might have picked up some hints as to what’s been going on.
The print is a super limited edition (35 in existence) screen print, hand printed, numbered and signed by yours truly at the graphics department at the Bergen Academy of the arts.

I’m about to open a web store, so these prints will be available for purchase quite soon. In the meantime, hang tight and look at some cool photos. (update: the store is open)
